Rhodys In Bloom!!

It's a rainy day today. I hate it when it rains. But there's something about seeing my Rhodys in bloom that really cheers me up!! When I see them I am reminded of when my Husband and I dug them up from the front yard, chopped them down and were about to throw them away. Then I said "Stop! Let's plant them in the back yard along the fence line and see what happens. If they die, they die!" So off to the backyard we went and planted all 3 of them along our fence line. For the last 3 years we have had marvelous blooms to look at! Each year they appear to be happier and happier! Here is a sample of the gorgeous flowers we're getting this year!

I've also included some photos of my Alum (I think that's what they're called) in bloom!! Love these! They are finally starting to multiply!!

There's just something about flowers that make you smile on a rainy day!!

  1. Isn't that the truth! I love flowers!...Well, you probably knew that already! LOL They're gorgeous Bead! I'm so glad you and hubby had the wisdom of mind to just re-plant them in a better place for them to grow instead of tossing them out!...See! Sometimes even the things on their last leg sometimes just needs a little love! :-)) Beautiful picture taking too, by the way!
