Yep.....you heard it!! I had another brainstorm!!
Now that the smoke has cleared, I'll let you in on it. Last night I tweeted and posted on facebook my newest idea! I got some positive vibes from it, so I decided to take a stab at it. Let me tell you how I came up with this idea:
You may have already seen these beautiful earrings, but if not.....take a LOOK!

Because so many expressed to me that they liked, even loved these earrings, it got me to thinking about how nice it would be if I made another pair with interchangeable bead charms, to have what I'm going to call "Four in One Earrings!" So this is what I came up with.
What do you think?? You see, by changing the beads, you can have 4 pairs of earrings instead of 1! And with a little ingeniousness, maybe even more if you doubled the beads or even tripled them! Viola!! Is this a great idea or what!!?? If you're not crazy about the bead charms, just remember this is my first attempt at these. I'll come up with other bead charms as I go on.
While I have your attention, I also wanted to show you my newest baby!! It's a bracelet! I've been dying to show it to someone. I'm so proud!! But probably I'm the only one that will think it's cute. Isn't that usually the way with newborns?? But I know it will grow into something fabulous!! Ready??? Okay.....the suspense is killing me too! (Drum rolls.............)

Okay, where do I start?!...The four in one earrings, what a great idea!!! And the colors are so pretty!! Great job, Bead!! In fact, I'm thinking of doing something like this concept with my hats and flower brooches! (One hat, 3 flower brooch accessories) I've been working on my concept for a while. I might have even gotten the idea from you!! Can't remember anything anymore!!
ReplyDeleteNow, this bracelet is FABULOUS!!! WOW! So much work!! And all those gorgeous beads!!! How will you ever get what it's worth from the, Most of the time, unappreciative "lookers"?!! You've outdone yourself, my friend. And whatever you get for it, in my opinion, it won't be enough!!! :-))
Awwww, you're too good to me Wug!! Thanks for your input on the earrings. I think I need to spruce up the beads, I mean get more interesting ones to hang on them. But I'm glad you like the idea. I think it'll be great with your hats too!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your wonderful complement on my new bracelet!! I love this one myself!! I hope others see it the way we do. I know I have to ask a bit more for it because of the work, but I envisioned this one and it looks exactly as I envisioned it! That makes me happy! Thanks again, my friend! You're the best!
Got here from a Tweet - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the bracelet!! I also create interchangeable earrings but don't have them in my Etsy shop yet. I make my own ear wires and bead charms to hang on them. My sister is my guinnea pig and she LOVES hers - wears them all the time. You can also buy little silver or gold charms in different shapes to hang on the wires for variety. I call mine "Design-A-Pair" and hope to have them ready to market soon. Will check out your Etsy store and see what elsa ya got.

PS - Love the soup bowls!! And my husband and I have also been married 38 years on 9/2 :)
Cool Cathy!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see your interchangeable earrings too! I did post mine, but not a lot of interest in them so far. But my bead charms are a bit bland. I like the idea of "Design-A-Pair"! Let them choose which charms they would like for their earrings. I'm also going to start to make my own ear wires. Love the idea!
Thanks for your wonderful complement on my bracelet. I love that one too!
Congrats on the anniversary!!

So inspired by your clean work area! I sold something, and wasted 3 hours looking forward to it...so..I need spring cleaning and organization ....and time management, lol...
